Boundary Community School
Empowering the community through education and training
About Us
Boundary Community School is a long‑established charitable organisation serving the diverse communities of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Founded in 1982, the organisation has grown from a small local initiative into a trusted community hub. It was formally entered on the Register of Charities on 22 November 1995 and incorporated as a private limited company on 11 September 1995. Located on the western edge of Tower Hamlets – just a short distance from the City of London – Boundary Community School sits at the heart of a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood. Over the decades, it has become a vital resource for residents seeking opportunities to learn, connect, and thrive.
We provide a wide range of programmes, activities, and support services designed to empower disadvantaged and marginalised communities. Our work spans education, skills development, wellbeing, and community engagement, with a strong commitment to improving quality of life and expanding opportunities for local people.
At Boundary Community School, we believe in the power of community-led change. Our mission is to create an inclusive, supportive environment where individuals of all ages can build confidence, develop new skills, and access the resources they need to reach their full potential.
The Boundary Community School has been supporting the children and youth living on and around the Boundary Estate in Tower Hamlets. It is a household name in the Boundary Estate, where most of the mothers have attended at the Boundary Community School.
